Privacy policy

This notice explains how we process personal data when you visit vucia.ai, talk to the Vucìa assistant or send us a request, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and the Italian Privacy Code.
1. Data controller

2. What data we process
- Browsing data. IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, date and time: recorded by the servers to run the site and for security.
- Data you send us. Name, email, phone, company, message and any files (for example PDFs) you send with the contact, demo or configuration forms.
- Conversations with the assistant. The messages you write or say, the answers, date and time and a random session number. If you use the voice call, your voice is processed to understand the question and answer; the transcript and the call recording may be kept for the periods in section 6.
Please do not write sensitive data (health, political or religious opinions, judicial data) or other people’s data to the assistant.
3. An artificial intelligence assistant
Vucìa is an AI-based assistant: answers are generated automatically from the company’s content and may contain mistakes. It does not take decisions with legal effects on you. For important requests you can always write to us or ask to speak with a person.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. If we ever ask you to receive news, we will do it only with your consent.
5. Who we share it with
With the providers we need to deliver the service, appointed as data processors (art. 28 GDPR): hosting and cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence services for text, voice and transcription, email and work tools, administrative and tax advisers. The up-to-date list is available on request at contact@vucia.ai.
Some providers are based or have servers outside the European Union, in particular in the United States. In these cases the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. How long we keep it
- Contact, demo and configuration requests, including files: up to 24 months from the last contact if you do not become a customer.
- Conversations with the assistant: up to 12 months, then deleted or anonymised.
- Browsing data and technical logs: up to 90 days, unless needed to investigate abuse.
- Tax and contract documents, if you become a customer: 10 years, as required by law.
7. When Vucìa answers on another company’s website
If you talk to a Vucìa assistant on the website of one of our customers, that company is the data controller. Loto Studios acts on its behalf as data processor under the contract. To exercise your rights, contact the company first; if you write to us, we forward the request.
8. Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, receive it in a readable format (portability) and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to contact@vucia.ai: we answer within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your country.
9. Children
The site and the assistant are meant for companies and professionals, not for children under 14.
10. Cookies
What we store in your browser is explained in the Cookie policy.
11. Changes
If we change this notice we update the date at the top. We flag important changes on the site.
