WordPress chatbot: add Vucìa to your website.

To get an AI chatbot on WordPress you need your Vucìa assistant’s code. You add it once, with a plugin for scripts or in your theme, and the chat appears on your website’s pages.

The code is unique to your assistant: you find it in the portal after activation.
In short

A chatbot on WordPress.

A WordPress chatbot is an assistant that visitors open from any page of your website. They ask a question and get the answer from your content, without searching through menus and documents.

01

The code is all it takes

Vucìa is added with your assistant’s code: the same on WordPress and on any other website.

02

Everything in the portal

Content, tone and voice are managed in the Vucìa portal. Your website hosts the chat.

03

Chat, voice and 3D

The modes follow your plan: chat, spoken answers, website calls, 3D character.

Before you start

Keep three things at hand.

Copy the full code, exactly as it is: it contains your assistant’s identifier.

Choose a single place to insert it. This way the chat loads once, on all the pages you want.

If your website has a staging environment, start there: you can check the result calmly before publishing.

You will need
  • Your assistant’s code, from the Vucìa portal
  • Administrator access to WordPress, or whoever manages the site
  • A backup or a staging environment
Method 1

With a plugin for code.

It is the simplest method if you manage the website from the WordPress dashboard: use a plugin that adds code to the site header.

01Open the plugin

Go to the plugin section for header code.

02Paste the code

Paste the full code copied from the portal, once.

03Save

Save the settings and, if you use a cache, refresh it.

04Check

Open your website: the chat button appears on the pages.

The right place for the script is the plugin settings: a regular text block is meant for content. The WordPress documentation on the HTML block explains the difference.

Method 2

In the theme, for site developers.

Whoever develops the website can load the code from the theme, with the WordPress system for including scripts described in the official documentation.

The best place is a child theme: changes stay in place even after the parent theme is updated.

Good practice
  • A single insertion point
  • Full code, unchanged
  • Child theme for customisations
  • First test in a staging environment
Final check

Check on computer and phone.

01

One chat per page

Open a few pages and check that a single chat button appears.

02

Key pages in order

Check that cart, contact forms and buttons stay clearly visible, on phone and computer.
